Hypervisors are currently the most widely protected workload on the Rubrik platform. You and the team's work will make a huge impact for our customers and for Rubrik as we are building a world class data management platform to help manage and protect customer data on hypervisor and host.
You will be part of a dynamic team that is solving the toughest engineering problems in building large scale distributed systems that are serving both cloud and on-prem protection.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who has a strong technical background and has worked on platforms and infrastructure in the past. We value managers who provide guidelines to their team and play a supporting role but give folks the space to take ownership of their work.
You will be responsible for driving your team and working closely with multiple product areas that the Hypervisor platform supports.



You will set transparent goals and direction for your team and hold them accountable to achieve this and lift the bar on engineering excellence. You'll help grow the team and support each individual's growth and career objectives. You'll help the team understand the business objectives and translate them into a technical roadmap and list of priorities. As part of this, you'll partner with various stakeholders across different organizations in Rubrik .
This role is based in Bangalore, India, as part of a new Hypervisor team we are building in-region. You will report into a manager based in Palo Alto, US, with engineers on the team based in India, so experience working with distributed teams and multiple timezones is ideal.
