Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.
Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

The Asset & CMDB Lead is responsible for leading the organization's IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) functions. This role ensures effective governance,



lifecycle management, compliance, and optimization of IT assets while maintaining an accurate and reliable CMDB that supports Incident, Change, Problem, Security, and Service Management processes.
The position serves as the single point of accountability for asset inventory accuracy, software and hardware lifecycle management, CMDB governance, service mapping, discovery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

IT Asset Management
Define and implement IT Asset Management policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
Manage the complete lifecycle of hardware, software, cloud, and digital assets.
Maintain accurate asset inventories across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Track asset procurement, deployment, utilization, refresh, and retirement.
Ensure software license compliance and optimize software usage and costs.
Conduct periodic asset audits and reconciliations.
