Senior Associate-Compliance Testing & Monitoring

Responsibilities for the job
1. Drive and support high standards of core compliance framework through ongoing delivery of any organized and structured Core Compliance program on monitoring and testing
2. Support Lead in providing business advisory to ensure clear understanding of compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, transactions and products
3. Analyzing compliance requirements for New Product Approvals and coordinate with relevant stakeholders in ensuring controls are established right from the beginning to mitigate compliance risk
4. Formulating testing scripts, identifying areas for ad hoc testing, engagement to identify gaps for thematic reviews, regulatory guidelines
5. Play the central role in identifying the level of regulatory Compliance risk in the NBFC, the compliance risks in existing / current products and processes shall be analyzed and appropriate risk mitigants put in place
6. Assist Lead in updating Action Taken Tracker and exercise control over timely and quality addressal of the open issues

Review of the policies and systems that impact the NBFC and ensure Regulatory Compliance is managed in a commercially sensitive, practical, and cost-effective manner
8. Assisting Lead to design and delivery of a portfolio of Compliance tests to monitor compliance with Regulation and internal policies, processes, SOPs
9. Conducting thematic review/analysis of test check and highlighting deficiencies or violations of rules, regulations and procedures. Assisting Lead to designing, engineering and implementation of new test checks/reviews
10. Act as advisory to training team w.r.t to compliance policies and processes to be followed
11. Escalate appropriate concerns to Business compliance and management
12. Management of the Compliance Monitoring Tool for identifying, assessing, monitoring and managing applicable compliance requirements; escalate issues of non-compliance and recording approval of competent
