Role Overview:
To drive data-driven retail planning and business performance by leveraging advanced analytics, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and assortment planning. The role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, improving inventory productivity, and enhancing profitability through effective pre-season and in-season planning. As the organization adopts AI-driven automation, the incumbent will play a key role in solving complex business problems, developing analytical models, and enabling strategic decision-making that improves sales, margins, and customer experience.

Pre-season Planning:
Assortment planning by store clusters based on customer and store profiling, with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve both topline growth and bottom-line profitability.
True demand analysis (Actual Sales + Lost Sales) to determine the optimal depth per option.
Size curve analysis to identify gaps and optimize size availability.

In-season Management:
Plan vs.



Actual performance review and forecasting of the next three months using the current ROS and a normalized historical baseline adjusting to inward trend vs OTB.
Review and optimize the markdown assumptions incorporated into the existing plan.

Analytics & Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience in building demand forecasting models and continuously optimizing them post-deployment to reduce forecasting errors.
Experience in inventory optimization projects, including option rationalization and addressing overstocking issues.
Proficiency in Python and Tableau.
Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis.
Experience in space and fixture planning for recent store formats will be add on.

Education & Experience:
Full-time B. Tech/MBA from a reputed institute
Must have 3+ years of relevant experience in Retail Analytics
Hands-on experience with Python &Tableau;
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot), SQL preferred
