Qualification and requirement:

Masters/Bachelor of Engineering degree (preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field).
12 to 15 years of experience in Automotive product development.
Over 5 years of experience in working on 2-Wheeler design and development
About 5 years of experience in Project and Team management
In-depth knowledge of CATIA V5 software for 3D design modelling and 2D drafting.
Strong understanding of design principles, layout design, engineering calculations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Effective project and people management skills.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering projects and teams.
Proficiency in Japanese language is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all aspects of two-wheeler product development projects, from concept to completion at customer location.
Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Possess strong expertise in designing and developing motorcycle body,



exterior, seating, and lighting components using CATIA software.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of materials like Plastic, steel, aluminum, rubber, etc., and their applications in the automotive industry.
Apply knowledge of design and engineering calculations to solve technical challenges.
Interpret results and propose solutions based on CAE structural analysis.
Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant vehicle regulations and evaluation methods.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers across domains, fostering a team-oriented and productive work environment.
Cultivate strong relationships with the customer, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
