We're looking for an experienced Deputy Purchasing Manager to lead procurement strategy and vendor management for our manufacturing operations, ensuring cost-effective, uninterrupted supply of materials and services. This role will report to the Manager of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with business goals
Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and services
Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and sourcing initiatives
Identify, evaluate,



and develop suppliers
Conduct supplier performance reviews covering quality, delivery, cost, and service
Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers
Lead price, payment, contract, and delivery negotiations
Achieve annual cost-saving targets through effective negotiation and alternate sourcing
Review and approve quotations, comparative statements, and purchase orders
Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and approval matrices
Optimize inventory levels while avoiding stock-outs
Monitor material planning, lead times, and supplier delivery performance
Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Stores, Finance, and Quality teams
Prepare and manage departmental budgets
Analyze market trends, commodity prices, and sourcing risks to control procurement costs
Maintain accurate procurement records and MIS reporting
