SOIL Institute of Management is looking for an experienced and energetic professional to drive student career readiness and employability initiatives. The role involves preparing MBA students for internships and final placements through structured training, career coaching, industry engagement, and personalized mentoring. The incumbent will work closely with students, faculty, recruiters, alumni, and the placements team to ensure students are equipped with the skills, mindset, and confidence required to succeed in competitive recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Career Readiness & Employability Development
Design and deliver career readiness programs aligned with industry expectations and recruiter requirements.
Conduct workshops on business communication, presentation skills, corporate etiquette, executive presence, networking, and personal branding.
Develop competency-based interventions to enhance student employability.

Student Coaching & Mentoring
Provide one-on-one career counselling and guidance to students on career planning and goal setting.




Review and strengthen student resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and professional portfolios.
Mentor students on job search strategies, networking, and professional conduct.

Placement Preparation
Conduct mock interviews (HR, Functional, Case-based) and provide developmental feedback.
Prepare students for Group Discussions, Case Competitions, Assessment Centres, and business presentations.
Track individual student readiness and recommend targeted development plans.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with the Placement Team to understand recruiter expectations and hiring trends.
Collaborate with faculty and alumni to deliver industry-relevant career development interventions.
Facilitate interactions with recruiters, industry experts, and alumni to improve student preparedness.

Assessment & Reporting
Monitor student participation, progress, and readiness through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
