Purpose

Experienced legal professional within the EMEA Legal team, responsible for developing and implementing legal and contracting strategies. Leads or contributes to cross functional projects and plays a key role in shaping and improving policies, procedures, and training programs. Provides nuanced advice and guidance to senior management on a range of legal and contractual topics, and actively mentors junior lawyers to support their professional development.

The Role

As a Senior Counsel with Worley,



you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Lawyer with relevant experience to provide legal support to the EMEA Region, with a solid background in commercial and contract law, particularly in engineering, EPC, or EPCM or similar services.
May train and coach junior attorneys in the EMEA region, or within the wider company on matters within their specific areas of knowledge and/or experience.
May mentor less experienced lawyers (who are not direct reports) on topics within their areas of experience, skill and knowledge.
Collaborates closely with senior leadership, regional generalist lawyers, CoE teams, MPP/strategic teams and cross-functional teams to manage legal risk and support business objectives.
Handles routine legal matters in collaboration with the relevant CoE teams and escalates complex matters as appropriate.
