We are looking for a detail-oriented Structural Steel Checker with 3–8 years of experience in structural steel detailing and quality checking. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Tekla Structures and will be responsible for reviewing structural steel models, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings to ensure they comply with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
As a Structural Steel Checker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of deliverables before they are released for fabrication. You will work closely with detailers, project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to identify discrepancies, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review and check structural steel models, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings prepared in Tekla Structures.




Verify dimensions, connections, member sizes, welds, bolts, assemblies, and material specifications for completeness and accuracy.
Ensure detailing complies with client standards, project specifications, engineering design documents, and fabrication requirements.
Perform quality checks on GA drawings, shop drawings, NC files, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Identify inconsistencies, clashes, missing information, and constructability issues before drawing release.
Coordinate with structural engineers, steel detailers, and project teams to resolve technical queries and implement revisions.
Ensure all deliverables adhere to established quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Review revisions and maintain proper version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Support project teams in meeting delivery schedules without compromising quality.
