Job Summary:
Responsible for the pre & post fixture operations of Tanker vessels

Task & Responsibilities:
1) Assist the Chartering Department in collating the information required by customers during the pre-fixture negotiations. The information required may include:
Details of the vessel specifications
Cargo carrying capabilities
Performance history of the vessel
Assessing suitability for the trade
Estimated Voyage Costs
Port specific information
Vessel scheduling
2) Execution of Voyage:
Thorough in Voyage planning & voyage orders for Master
To liaise and coordinate with Brokers,



Charterers, Owners, Agents, Internal departments on effective & to facilitate execution of the voyage on a 24/7 basis.
Monitor ships performance at sea.
Liaising with accounting and preparing summary of outstanding, receivables.
Ensure collection of all receivables to improve cash flow.
Contest / defend and negotiate claims.
Checking Bill of Lading and preparing LOI.
Monitor voyage progress (Delivery/Redelivery notices, SOF, Offhires, Claims)
Maintain Off-hire records
Thorough understanding of the voyage Profit & Loss account.
3) Bunkering & Vessel Optimisation:
To ascertain that the vessel optimizes cargo intakes & to ensure vessel is sufficiently bunkered.
To coordinate with weather routing services & ensure vessel is following optimal sea route.
4) Internal & External Liaison:
To negotiate & appoint port agents, plan bunkers stem as per grades permissible to trading areas.
