Role Overview

We are looking for a strong Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript to build and scale high-performance systems for a product-based setting. The role involves working on core backend architecture, APIs, and scalable services.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of applications
Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Participate in system design and architecture discussions
Proficiency in Node.js, and TypeScript, APIs, databases.
Experience working with and building backend systems that have been used in the real world.
Ability to navigate different stages of product development – from scrappy MVPs to scalable architectures.

Must-Have Requirements





3–6 years of backend development experience
Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js
Strong proficiency in TypeScript
Solid understanding of APIs, backend architecture, and system design basics
Experience working in product-based companies (mandatory)
Good problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures

Good to Have

Experience with NestJS
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Candidate Profile

Open to relocation to Mumbai if currently based elsewhere
Preference for candidates who have worked across multiple cities/locations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Comfortable with 5-day work-from-office setup
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced product environments
