Senior Test Consultant - SAP FICO Testing (R2R) Enterprise S/4 HANA Digital Transformation Program
Position Title: Senior Test Consultant - SAP FICO Testing (R2R)
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Duration: 12–18 months
Reports To: Test Manager / Test Lead
Band/Level: Senior Test Consultant

1. Role Summary
Testing end-to-end SAP FICO R2R testing for S/4HANA transformation, ensuring accuracy of financial transactions, integrity of reporting, and seamless integration across finance modules and upstream systems.

2. Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute testing strategy covering functional, integration, regression, and UAT cycles
• Design test scenarios, scripts, and test data aligned to R2R processes
• Validate GL, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, CO-PA, and intercompany transactions
• Execute end-to-end R2R cycles including journal postings, accruals, allocations, and period-end close
• Perform integration testing across MM (P2P) and SD (O2C)
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation (GL balances, ACDOCA, open items)
• Manage defect lifecycle including logging, RCA, and retesting

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for SAP S/4HANA testing.
2. Execute and manage end-to-end testing activities to validate system functionality, performance, and data integrity.
3. Collaborate within team to identify and resolve defects and issues in a timely manner.
4. Provide leadership and guidance to junior testers and ensure adherence to testing best practices.
5. Analyze test results and present findings to stakeholders for decision-making and issue resolution.

Skill Requirements
1. Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA testing methodologies and tools.
2. Solid understanding of creating and executing test scripts for SAP S/4HANA modules.
3. Knowledge of SAP testing best practices and quality assurance processes.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.
5. Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
6. Robust communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
