- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the housekeeping team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and motivational work environment that promotes growth and excellence
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet brand standards and organizational cleanliness requirements
- Establish and monitor productivity, quality, and service standards while ensuring full compliance with hotel policies, health, safety, and hygiene procedures
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions to maintain consistent quality standards
- Manage scheduling, inventory control, and ordering of housekeeping supplies while analyzing costs and identifying opportunities for efficient resource utilization
- Collaborate seamlessly with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Handle guest requests and concerns with empathy and professionalism, resolving issues promptly to enhance the overall guest experience
- Recruit, onboard, train, and manage housekeeping staff, conducting performance reviews and supporting career development initiatives




- Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve operational efficiency, sustainability practices, and team engagement
- Maintain transparent communication with senior management regarding departmental performance, challenges, and strategic recommendations
- Ensure a secure working environment by promoting compliance with all health, safety, and environmental protocols

Qualifications

- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role within housekeeping operations, preferably in a luxury or upscale hotel environment
- Strong expertise in team management, staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead by example
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems
- Solid understanding of budget management, cost control, and financial analysis
- Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene standards, and sustainability practices in hospitality operations
- Demonstrated ability to motivate diverse teams, foster collaboration, and create an inclusive workplace culture
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, implement improvements, and drive operational excellence
- Excellent conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities with assertiveness and transparency

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
- Vendor and supplier relationship management experience is advantageous
