The role supports the end-to-end assurancereview process for energy-related projects by applying standards,methodologies, and verification requirements. Please note wereserve the right to close this role early WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Working closely with internal technical teams, Validation andVerification Bodies (VVBs), and external stakeholders, the rolecontributes to continuous improvement of assurance processes,strengthens quality control mechanisms, and enhances theeffectiveness of certification systems. The role also supportsgovernance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and capacity buildingto ensure consistent and high-quality assurance outcomes. The GoldStandard Foundation seeks a suitably qualified consultant who canwork independently to support the team with the following tasks /deliverables during a 12-month assignment. WHAT WILL BE YOURDELIVERABLES: Review project documentation and emission reductioncalculations against certification requirements. Identifynon-conformities and recommend corrective actions. Supportvalidation, verification, and assurance review processes. Preparereports and insights for governance and decision-making bodies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolvetechnical queries. Contribute to process improvement, digital MRVinitiatives, and quality enhancement activities. Support training,onboarding, and capability development across the assurancefunction. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 3+ years' experience inassurance, auditing,



certification systems, or related reviewfunctions. Knowledge of carbon standards, sustainabilitycertification systems, or verification frameworks. Experienceworking with renewable energy, energy efficiency, or otherlow-carbon projects. Solid analytical skills with the ability toreview technical documentation and data. Excellent stakeholdermanagement, communication, and report-writing skills. Experiencewith process improvement and digital systems is advantageous.Knowledge of carbon markets, climate finance, and SDGs isdesirable. Compensation Range The salary for this role will becommensurate with qualifications and experience. The successfulcandidate must be able to legally work as an independentcontractor.
