Job Type: Part-time

Catch it before it breaks. Keep sport live when itmatters most. Spiideo powers live sports video for thousands ofclubs, leagues and broadcasters worldwide. Cameras rollautomatically across stadiums and pitches every evening, everyweekend, all year round. When the final whistle blows, the footageneeds to be there. When a stream drops at 22:45 on a Sunday, someone needs to be on it before the customer even notices. Thatsomeone is you. About the role As a Technical Operations Agent youare 3rd line technical support outside European and North Americanoffice hours. While customer support handles customer contact andgame day operations agents monitor individual broadcasts, yourfocus is the system itself: the infrastructure and pipelines thateverything else depends on. Your job is not to wait for alerts. Itis to spot patterns, catch issues early and keep the platformrunning smoothly when no one else is watching. You are also thetechnical resource that 1st and 2nd line support and game dayoperations agents can turn to when they need a deeper look underthe hood. This is a current role on the India side of our global team. You will work closely with experienced agents in Europe and ourgrowing team in Philadelphia, and your shifts cover the hours whenthe rest of the world is asleep or just waking up. What you will doMonitor active video streams and system health proactively duringyour shift using Grafana and real-time alerting tools, looking foranomalies before they become customer-impacting incidentsInvestigate and resolve issues independently: clearing processingqueues, restarting stalled pipelines, recovering missing or delayedcontent Support 1st and 2nd line customer support and game dayoperations agents with technical context when they encounter issuesthey cannot resolve themselves Diagnose issues at the system level, identify root cause or isolate variables before escalating toengineering Make the call on when to escalate to the on-callengineer: not too early, not too late. When you do escalate, bringa clear summary of what you have already investigated and ruled outDocument what you learn so the next agent does not start fromscratch Create structured incident reports so engineers canreproduce and permanently fix the underlying issue Post a clearshift handover for the incoming agent in Europe, covering activeincidents, open items and anything requiring follow-up What weexpect Calm under pressure. Live broadcast means real stakes andreal-time pressure. You stay calm, think clearly and actsystematically even when three things are going wrong at once.Proactive by nature.

You do not wait for alerts to tell yousomething is wrong. You look at the data, notice what is off andact before it becomes a problem. Genuinely independent. This roleworks largely on its own during your shift, with the European teamcoming online toward the end of your day. You assess the situation, make a call and own it. We give you runbooks and training as afoundation, but we need you to think, not just follow steps. If therunbook does not cover what you are seeing, you figure it out.Curious and analytical. You enjoy figuring out why somethinghappened, not just that it happened. You form a hypothesis, test itand update your thinking based on what you find. A quick andstructured learner. You pick things up quickly, retain them andbuild on them. Runbooks are a starting point, not a ceiling. Clearcommunicator. Your incident notes and handovers are in clearwritten English, timestamped, specific and actionable. When youescalate, the engineer receiving your message knows exactly whatthe situation is and what you have already tried. Creative andresourceful. When you notice something could work better, you takeaction. One of our agents in Europe built a custom monitoring toolto get a clearer view of live games during their shift. That toolis now a core part of our game day operations. We want people whoimprove the way we work, not just follow it. Reliable. Shifts arescheduled in advance and we depend on you. You show up. ProfileRequired Background in technical operations, NOC operations, systems engineering, software engineering or a related technicalfield, either through work experience or relevant educationComfortable reading logs, metrics and traces in monitoring toolsFamiliar with networked systems: streaming protocols, latency, packet loss and upload bandwidth are concepts you understand Strongwritten English for clear incident notes and shift handovers withthe European and Philadelphia teams Available for morning andweekend day shifts on a reliable, recurring basis (India StandardTime) Able to work independently and make sound decisions undertime pressure Willingness to work on-site at our office Strongcandidates often have Experience with technical support,

NOCoperations or systems-adjacent work Prior hands-on experience withmonitoring tools beyond Grafana (Datadog, Prometheus or similar)Understanding of video streaming or real-time media pipelinesExperience working with distributed international teams in EnglishInterest in sports (welcome, but secondary to technical depth)Schedule Part-time, hourly employment, on-site at our India office. We are recruiting now for a July 2026 start, beginning with astructured onboarding program throughout July working alongside ourexperienced agents in Europe (via remote shadowing with overlappinghours during the latter part of your shift). From August, you moveinto the regular shift rotation: Weekday mornings: approximately07:30 to 13:30 IST, 6-hour shifts (covering the European pre-officehours) Weekend daytime: approximately 10:30 to 16:30 IST, 6-hourshifts Shifts are scheduled at least one week in advance. Shiftswaps within the team are permitted with prior notice. CompensationCompetitive hourly rate at market level for this type of role inIndia. Onboarding hours are paid at the same rate. Onboarding Yourfirst weeks are a structured onboarding program in July. You learnthe systems, the monitoring tools and the incident playbooksalongside our experienced European agents, while the platform is inits calmer summer rhythm. By late August, when the fall sportsseason ramps up, you are ready to handle independent shifts on theIndia side. We treat onboarding as a real part of the role:documenting new patterns, improving runbooks and helping the teamget smarter over time. Success looks like Issues are caught beforethey become customer-impacting incidents When incidents do occur, they are resolved or escalated fast, with a clear and structuredsummary The on-call engineer is only engaged when genuinely needed, and always with full context Shift handovers are consistent and theincoming European agent is never left guessing Patterns inrecurring issues are noticed and flagged so engineering can fixthem permanently About Spiideo Spiideo is a Swedish sportstechnology company powering automated live video for clubs, leaguesand broadcasters around the world.
