Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, machine learning and statistical modeling. You will be responsible for developing analytical models to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets and drive data-informed decisions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets related to telematics, production, service and warranty.
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and analytical objectives.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing and other validation methods to evaluate model performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data science or a related analytical role.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana, Looker).
- Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
