Key Responsibilities

- Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and learning needs.
- Provide individual and group counselling to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral challenges.
- Develop intervention plans to support students with academic, emotional, and mental health concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers to create inclusive classroom strategies and behavior management plans.
- Work closely with parents to provide guidance on students' emotional and developmental needs.
- Identify students requiring specialized support and coordinate referrals to external professionals when necessary.
- Support crisis intervention and student well-being initiatives.
- Conduct workshops for students, parents, and staff on topics such as mental health, stress management, emotional intelligence, bullying prevention, and resilience.
- Maintain confidential records of assessments, counselling sessions, and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), where applicable.

Qualification

- M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Educational, or Child Psychology).




- Additional qualification or certification in Child Psychology or School Psychology is preferred.
- RCI registration is desirable for candidates working with students requiring special educational support.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a School Psychologist in a CBSE/ICSE/International School.
- Experience working with children and adolescents across different age groups.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychology.
- Expertise in psychological assessment and counselling techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
- High level of empathy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Robust report writing and documentation skills.

Preferred Knowledge

- CBSE guidelines on student well-being and inclusive education.
- Learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and mental health interventions.
- Crisis management and safeguarding practices.
- Psychometric assessment tools and evidence-based counselling approaches.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
