Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer – Valves Industry

Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 7–12 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in valve manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection of castings, forgings, machining, welding, assembly, pressure testing, and NDT processes while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of valve components and finished products.
- Inspect castings, forgings, machining (boring), welding, and assembly activities.
- Review and verify NDT reports (RT, UT, MT, PT) and welding documentation.
- Conduct dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments.
- Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing of valves.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO,



and customer specifications.
- Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with production, suppliers, customers, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
- Support internal, external, and customer quality audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of casting, forging, machining (boring), welding, and NDT.
- Experience in valve manufacturing or heavy engineering industry.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
