Qualification B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Primavera (P6)

Compensatio
n ₹6.00 – ₹6.50 LPA
Job Purpose
To support project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and project controls for Mechanical,
Piping, Structural, Equipment Erection, and EPC construction activities. The incumbent shall
be responsible for preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, coordinating with
multidisciplinary teams, identifying schedule risks, and ensuring timely completion of
projects in accordance with client requirements, contractual milestones, and Company
objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
 Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
 Develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity sequencing, project calendars,
and baseline schedules.
 Prepare resource-loaded schedules for manpower, equipment, and materials.
 Develop look-ahead schedules (7-day, 15-day, and 30-day plans).
 Update project schedules based on actual site progress and approved changes.
Project Monitoring & Control
 Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against approved schedules.
 Track planned versus actual progress and identify schedule deviations.
 Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and recommend corrective actions.
 Prepare recovery schedules and monitor implementation until project recovery is
achieved.
 Ensure timely achievement of project milestones.




Resource Planning
 Plan and monitor manpower deployment, equipment utilization, and productivity.
 Coordinate with Procurement and Stores for timely material availability.
 Identify resource constraints and recommend optimization measures.
 Support effective utilization of project resources.
Progress Reporting & MIS
 Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Progress Reports (DPR/WPR/MPR).
 Develop project dashboards, S-Curves, manpower histograms, productivity reports,
and project presentations.

 Generate MIS reports highlighting project progress, delays, resource utilization, and
key performance indicators.
 Present planning updates during Management and Client review meetings.
Coordination & Client Interface
 Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, QA/QC,
Procurement, Contracts, and Construction teams.
 Collect progress inputs from discipline engineers and subcontractors.
 Participate in planning meetings and client review meetings.
 Coordinate with client representatives regarding planning deliverables and reporting
requirements.
 Ensure compliance with contractual milestones and reporting formats.
Risk Management & Project Controls
 Identify planning risks and schedule bottlenecks.
 Analyze delays and recommend mitigation measures.
 Maintain project planning documentation, schedule revisions, and version control.
 Support project close-out documentation and final planning reports.

Desired Profile
A planning skilled with 4–6 years of experience in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas,
EPC, or Mechanical Construction Projects. The candidate should possess sound knowledge
of project scheduling, project controls, progress monitoring, resource planning, and project reporting. Experience in Mechanical, Piping, Structural Steel, Equipment Erection,
Shutdown, Brownfield, and Greenfield Projects will be preferred. Experience of working on Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) projects shall be an added advantage.
