Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic Counsellor to guide prospective students through the admission process and help them choose suitable courses based on their academic background, interests, and career goals. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, career opportunities, and educational programs.
- Understand students' academic background, career aspirations, and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, WhatsApp, and online inquiries.
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions.
- Explain course curriculum, fee structure, scholarships, and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams to ensure a smooth enrollment process.
- Conduct counseling sessions via phone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings.
- Meet monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Participate in educational events, seminars, webinars, and career fairs to promote programs.
- Resolve student queries and provide post-admission support when required.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly counseling and admission reports.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- 1–5 years of experience in student counseling, academic counseling, education consulting, or admissions.




- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in counseling may also apply.

Required Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid counseling, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand students' needs and provide appropriate guidance.
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with CRM software is preferred.
- Ability to achieve admission and conversion targets.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in EdTech, educational institutions, colleges, universities, or training institutes.
- Knowledge of higher education programs, certifications, and career pathways.
- Familiarity with online counseling tools and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple student inquiries simultaneously.
- Multilingual communication skills are an added advantage.
