About Quantcase AI

Quantcase is building an AI-powered pro-consumer equity research platform for public markets. We leverage AI to use unstructured data and score listed companies on our proprietary frameworks. Our platform delivers actionable insights through intelligent data pipelines, advanced AI workflows, and intuitive research interfaces.

The Role

We seek a VP Tech to lead the technical vision and execution of our research platform. You will own the full technology stack—backend infrastructure, frontend product, and AI workflows—while scaling our system to handle institutional-grade research at production standards. This is an early technical leadership role where you will work closely with the founder, define engineering culture, and directly shape product strategy through technical insight.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the technical roadmap and architecture decisions across backend (data pipelines, APIs, databases), frontend (research UX, dashboards), and AI workflows (LLM orchestration, signal extraction, pattern recognition)
- Scale AI workflows: design and optimize data processing stages, implement job tracking and error recovery.
- Build and lead the engineering team, establishing coding standards, testing practices, and deployment discipline
- Translate research requirements into scalable technical implementations
- Manage technical performance optimization, and system reliability to ensure production-grade uptime.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience in full-stack or platform roles.

Proven backend expertise: designing scalable APIs, managing data pipelines, optimizing query performance, working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with async job queuing (Celery, Bull, Kafka) and monitoring is a plus.





Strong frontend fundamentals: UX for data-heavy applications. Experience shipping polished dashboards and interactive research tools.

AI/ML workflow experience: orchestrating LLM calls, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or structured extraction pipelines. You should be comfortable iterating on AI quality and integrating models into production systems.

Comfort with early-stage technical leadership: making decisions with incomplete information, wearing multiple hats, and growing the engineering function from the ground up.

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience in fintech, investing, or financial data platforms
- Familiarity with Indian equity markets, regulatory data (SEBI filings), or institutional research workflows
- Track record building institutional-grade research or analytics products

Compensation & Terms

Market-competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus ESOP in Quantcase AI.

Pay: 1,50,000 to 2,00,000 per month.
