Pharmacist Job Description

Position: Pharmacist

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing patient counseling, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on the secure and effective use of medications.
- Maintain proper inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and other staff as needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or Pharm.D).




- Valid Pharmacist License/Registration.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Details

- Job Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (9 hours including breaks) or any 9-hour shift as per the duty roster.
- Weekly Off: One day off per week.
- Salary: Market-competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
