Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled STP Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). The candidate will ensure smooth functioning of the plant, maintain water quality standards, and carry out routine inspections and maintenance activities.

Experience

1 – 3 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant on a daily basis.
- Ensure treated water quality meets prescribed standards.
- Record and maintain daily operational logs and reports.
- Monitor pumps, motors, blowers, filters, and other STP equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and coordinate repairs when required.
- Check chemical dosing and maintain optimum treatment processes.
- Identify operational issues and report them to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and pollution control norms.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the STP area.




- Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to plant operations.

Requirements

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in operating STP/ETP/WTP systems.
- Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, piping, and water treatment processes.
- Ability to maintain records and reports.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of pollution control and environmental regulations.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
