Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced expatriate Draw Frame Technical Expert to lead the preventive maintenance of draw frame machines in a textile manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, support commissioning activities, and develop the technical capability of the local maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive maintenance for draw frame machines.
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Inspect, maintain, and calibrate drafting systems, autoleveller systems, servo drives, and can changers.
- Diagnose equipment faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.




- Maintain maintenance records and manage critical spare parts.
- Train, mentor, and develop local maintenance technicians.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–15 years' experience maintaining draw frame machines in a textile manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with autoleveller systems, servo drives, PLCs, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and equipment reliability experience.
- Previous international or expatriate experience in a textile manufacturing workplace is an added advantage.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Kano State, Nigeria.
