Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrician with 2-3 years of experience in plant machinery maintenance and breakdown handling. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical systems, troubleshooting machine faults, and ensuring smooth plant operations with minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machines, panels, motors, and control circuits.
- Conduct routine inspection of electrical equipment and utility systems.
- Maintain electrical wiring, MCCs, VFDs, sensors, and switchgear.
- Ensure machines are operating safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records and daily work reports.
- Follow electrical safety standards and company procedures.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot circuits.
- Experience in motor maintenance, starters, sensors, and PLC-controlled machines.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing/industrial plant maintenance.
- Breakdown analysis and corrective actions.
- Experience with compressors, pumps, conveyors, or production machinery.
