Job Description – Laboratory Technician (Day Shift)

Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Shift: Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

- Perform phlebotomy (blood sample collection) following standard safety and infection control protocols.
- Conduct rapid diagnostic kit tests as per laboratory procedures.
- Collect, label, process, and prepare patient samples for outsourced laboratory testing.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely dispatch of outsourced samples.
- Prepare and type laboratory reports accurately.
- Enter patient and test data into the laboratory information system.
- Use internet and email for report sharing, communication with reference laboratories, and online data management.
- Maintain laboratory records, registers, and inventory.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards.




- Assist doctors and healthcare staff with laboratory-related activities as required.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in phlebotomy.
- Experience in performing rapid kit tests.
- Knowledge of sample handling and preparation for outsourced testing.
- Valuable typing speed and computer proficiency.
- Strong internet and email communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in report preparation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) or equivalent.
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory quality and safety practices.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month
