Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Engineer / Technician – Automation & SPM

Location: Hosur, Tamilnadu.

About Us:

We are an Industrial Automation & Robotics company engaged in designing and manufacturing Special Purpose Machines (SPM) and custom automation systems. We are looking for skilled Mechanical Assembly Engineers / Technicians to support machine assembly, trials, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble special purpose machines, automation systems, jigs, and fixtures as per drawings.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform machine alignment, leveling, and precision fitting.
- Assemble components such as linear guides, ball screws, gearboxes, motors, pneumatics, and sensors.
- Support machine trials, debugging, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with design and electrical teams to resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain assembly quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning, if required.

Requirements:

For Assembly Engineer:

- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 – 5 years of experience in automation / SPM machine assembly.
- Good understanding of machine elements,



tolerances, and fits.
- Ability to read and understand 2D mechanical drawings.

For Assembly Technician:

- ITI (Fitter / Mechanic / Machine Tool) or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, assembly, and alignment.
- Knowledge of basic tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in pneumatics and basic hydraulics.
- Exposure to robot-based automation systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and work in a rapid-paced project environment.
