About the Role:

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Product Engineering (R&D;) team. The role involves designing and developing new products, improving existing designs, and working closely with manufacturing, testing, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in 3D CAD design (Creo), product development, and mechanical component design.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop new products from concept stage to production.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using Creo.
- Design and modify mechanical components based on customer requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities.
- Conduct design reviews and implement design improvements.
- Prepare feasibility studies and support technical solutions for customer requirements.
- Work with production teams for design optimization and manufacturing improvements.
- Coordinate with suppliers for component development and technical support.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction,



quality improvement, and product reliability enhancement.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documents, drawings, and SOPs.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Creo (Mandatory).
- Experience in 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
- Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of:
- Sheet Metal Design
- Plastic Component Design
- Rubber Parts
- Casting Components
- Basic understanding of FEA analysis tools like ANSYS / Pro-Mechanica will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 / IATF 16949 standards is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in Product Development / R&D; / Mechanical Design.
- Candidates from Automotive Components, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Industrial Automation, or Machinery Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
