Role description

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, event-driven architectures using Kafka, and containerization with Docker, along with a solid understanding of authentication and authorization flows.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Python
- Build and manage event-driven systems and integrations using Kafka
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows (e.g., OAuth2, JWT, API security)
- Containerize applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end delivery
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability of services
- Follow best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong programming expertise in Python




- Hands on experience with SQL
- Experience with Kafka / Event-driven architecture preferred (not mandatory)
- Experience with Docker and container-based development
- Solid understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Expertise in building REST APIs and microservices architectures
- Robust understanding of system design and scalable architectures
