About Us
Jewel Child Development Centre is a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy centre committed to supporting children with developmental, learning, behavioral, and communication challenges through evidence-based intervention. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Educator to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the educational and developmental needs of children with special needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on each child's abilities and goals.
- Conduct one-on-one and group intervention sessions.
- Teach academic, functional, communication, and life skills using appropriate teaching strategies.
- Adapt teaching methods and learning materials to meet individual learning needs.
- Monitor and document each child's progress through regular assessments and reports.
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists, and other professionals to ensure holistic intervention.
- Provide parent counselling and home program guidance to support learning outside therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, session notes, and progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
- Ensure a safe,
engaging, and child-friendly learning environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is Mandatory.
- Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Special Education is preferred.
- RCI registration is preferred where applicable.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children with special needs.
- Good documentation and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) intervention
