Job Title: Graphic Design/Fine Art Intern

Position Overview: The Graphic Design Intern will work closely with the CCT Design Team on a wide range of creative briefs that shape how the Podar brand and its educational content come to life visually. This role offers hands-on exposure to designing student-facing resources, publication work, and branding illustration, alongside supporting requirement-based projects such as certificates, banners, flyers, and brochures that go out across the Podar ecosystem. It's an excellent opportunity for aspiring designers to build a strong, diverse portfolio while contributing to work that directly enhances the learning experience for students and the teaching experience for teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student-Facing & Publication Design

● Assist in designing visual content for student-facing learning resources and materials.

● Support the design and layout of publications, ensuring readability, hierarchy, and

visual appeal.

● Collaborate with the team to translate content and curriculum ideas into engaging visual formats.

2. Branding & Illustration

● Contribute to branding and illustration projects that reflect Podar's visual identity.





● Assist in maintaining consistency across design assets in line with brand guidelines.

● Support the development of original illustrations and visual assets as required.

3. Requirement-Based Design Projects

● Design certificates, banners, flyers, and brochures for various school and network-wide requirements.

● Manage multiple design requests efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency.

● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand briefs and incorporate feedback.

4. Design Process & Collaboration

● Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to ongoing projects.

● Prepare files for print and digital use, ensuring accuracy in specifications.

● Organize and maintain design files, templates, and project documentation.

● Support communication within the team and with stakeholders through email and other

channels.

Qualifications:

● Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree/diploma program in Graphic Design,

Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.

● A genuine interest in design for education and a desire to create work that makes a real

impact.

● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.





● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and willingness to learn new skills.

Design Knowledge:

● Solid understanding of layout and composition

● Visual hierarchy

● Typography and font pairing

● Colour theory and colour pairing

● Basic print production knowledge (bleed, resolution, CMYK/RGB)

● An eye for consistency and attention to detail

Skills:

● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

● Working knowledge of Canva

● Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)

● Familiarity with CorelDraw is a plus

● Photo editing

● Content creation

● Proficiency in AI Prompting

● Research skills, particularly around visual references and design trends

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
