Position: Housekeeping Associate

Reporting To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Assistant Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role ensures that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with The LaLiT's quality standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, service, and prepare assigned guest rooms as per hotel standards.
- Ensure all guest rooms are properly stocked with amenities, linen, towels, and supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of public areas, corridors, and back-of-house locations as assigned.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the concerned department promptly.
- Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently while maintaining service excellence.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for room cleaning, sanitation, and chemical usage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of housekeeping equipment, cleaning agents, and guest supplies.
- Replenish housekeeping carts and maintain inventory of cleaning materials.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Laundry departments to ensure timely room readiness.
- Follow lost and found procedures in accordance with hotel policy.
- Adhere to all health, hygiene, safety, and fire regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect guests' privacy at all times.
- Participate in departmental training and continuously improve service standards.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Management.





Qualifications

- Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2); Diploma in Hotel Management or Housekeeping is preferred.

Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or resort.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
- Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹18,283.14 per month
