DATA ANLYST

Data Analyst Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources.

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Create automated reports and MIS using Advanced Excel functions, formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and VBA (preferred).

Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.

Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver insights.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reports.

Support decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

Document reporting processes and maintain data governance standards.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Lookup Functions, Dashboards, Data Validation, VBA/Macros preferred)

SQL (Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions, Stored Procedures, Query Optimization)

Power BI (Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, Dashboard Development, Report Publishing)





Solid understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts.

Knowledge of database structures and data warehousing concepts.

Analytical Skills

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in Power BI, SQL, or Data Analytics are an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.

Experience with ETL processes.

Understanding of business intelligence and data visualization best practices.

Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
