Job Title: Machine Operator – VMC

Location: Kathwada GIDC, Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Reporting To: Shift Incharge / Production Supervisor

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Machine Operator – VMC to join our production team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of VMC machining, CNC controls, engineering drawings, and quality standards. Candidates with a willingness to learn and grow in a precision manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

- ITI (Machinist/Turner/Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- CNC Certified Course or BE (Mechanical/CAD-CAM/Production Engineering)
- Freshers with relevant training or experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Work on HAAS, Mitsubishi, or Fanuc control systems.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Understand and use G-Code and M-Code basics.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and cutting parameters.
- Perform in-process inspection using precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain production records, route cards, and machine logbooks.




- Follow SOPs and shop floor work instructions.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
- Support production targets while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of VMC machine operations.
- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM and computer operations.
- Knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
- Good mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ready to perform assigned production activities.

Preferred

- Experience with HAAS, Mitsubishi, or Fanuc controllers.
- Experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing is an advantage.
