The Accountant is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities of the distributor and C&F; operations. This includes maintaining financial records, inventory accounting, GST compliance, customer and vendor reconciliation, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The role requires accuracy, solid analytical skills, and knowledge of distribution and warehouse accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts and record all financial transactions accurately.

Prepare and post journal entries, payment vouchers, and receipt vouchers.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reconcile customer, supplier, bank, and ledger accounts regularly.

Process distributor billing, credit notes, debit notes, and stock transfers.

Maintain inventory records and reconcile physical stock with system records.

Handle C&F-related; accounting, including inward and outward stock documentation.





Prepare and file GST returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.

Assist in TDS calculations, statutory deductions, and tax payments.

Prepare monthly MIS reports, profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with the sales team for collections.

Verify expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.

Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.

Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for statutory compliance.

Coordinate with banks, auditors, vendors, and customers on financial matters
