- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the DRI plant.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults in motors, MCC/PCC panels, transformers, switchgear, VFDs, and LT/HT systems.
- Maintain electrical distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and power supply networks.
- Carry out cable laying, glanding, termination, and replacement of damaged cables.
- Monitor the health of motors, pumps, conveyors, fans, and other plant equipment.
- Attend emergency electrical breakdowns and restore equipment within minimum downtime.
- Experience in maintenance of DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) Plant
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and control schematics.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.
- Follow electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
- Coordinate with Mechanical and Instrumentation teams during maintenance activities.
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Steel Plants.
