Job Role

- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, Redhat) and command-line tools.

- Strong understanding of CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks for Linux systems and have experience in implementing and automating these benchmarks to enforce security best practices.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to apply CIS profiles and other security controls across Linux environments, integrating with existing systems to streamline operations.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for automation tools, CIS profile implementations, and compliance procedures. Develop deployment guides, operational procedures, and compliance reports to track adherence to security standards.

- Proficiency in Bash scripting or other scripting languages for automation and system administration tasks, with a willingness to learn Python basics.

- Strong knowledge of SSH, including key management, configuration,



and secure remote access practices.

- Stay updated on the latest security threats, industry trends, and updates to CIS benchmarks.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing security and performance issues. Robust communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Linux certifications (e.g., RHCE) or equivalent certifications demonstrating advanced Linux administration skills. Experience with other automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Python) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) would be an added advantage.

- Familiarity with security tools and practices beyond CIS benchmarks (e.g., vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection).
