Job Title: Catering Grocery Store In-ChargeJob Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Grocery Store In-Charge to manage catering store operations, inventory, stock movement, and material handling. The candidate should have experience in maintaining food stock, kitchen supplies, vendor coordination, purchase follow-up, and daily store records for catering and banquet operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the catering grocery store and stock room
- Maintain inventory of food items, groceries, spices, beverages, disposables, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of all required items for events and catering operations
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials from vendors and suppliers
- Check quantity, quality, expiry dates, and condition of received goods
- Issue materials to kitchen, banquet, housekeeping, and service teams as per approved requirements
- Maintain proper records of inward, outward, and balance stock
- Coordinate with purchase team and vendors for replenishment of stock
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory checks
- Minimize wastage, pilferage,



and stock damage through proper storage practices
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the store area
- Maintain FIFO and FEFO practices for stock rotation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
- Monitor consumption patterns and inform management about slow-moving or fast-moving items
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards

Requirements

- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in catering store management, inventory, warehouse, or grocery store operations
- Knowledge of grocery items, food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and banquet materials
- Good understanding of stock management, inventory control, and store documentation
- Ability to maintain purchase records, stock registers, and supplier coordination
- Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and inventory software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during peak event periods

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
