Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer – Automotive Division with 2 years of experience in automotive product design and development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in 3D CAD design software, component design, and engineering drawings. The candidate will be responsible for designing automotive components, supporting product development activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop automotive components and assemblies using 3D CAD design software.
- Create detailed 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T; and engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and engineering change records.
- Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, and project teams during product development.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering feedback.
- Ensure designs comply with automotive industry standards and manufacturing feasibility.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical solutions for engineering challenges.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for prototype development and validation.
- Support product testing, troubleshooting, and design optimization activities.




- Ensure timely completion of assigned design tasks while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering concepts.
- 2 years of experience in automotive mechanical design is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD modelling and drafting software.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, machined, and fabricated component design.
- Experience in preparing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
- Understanding of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of automotive product development lifecycle.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple design assignments and meet project deadlines.
- English communication is mandatory.

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.

Experience: 2 Years

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
