About the Job
We need an experienced Production Manager for our furniture unit. You will be responsible for making sure every furniture order is produced well and delivered on time.
Your Work Will Include
- Planning and managing production of furniture orders from start to finish
- Handling many projects at the same time and making sure all deliveries happen on time
- Reading technical drawings carefully and explaining them to the team. Strong drawing reading skills are a must
- Checking quality at every stage of production
- Giving a explicit status report of all work every day
- Coordinating with vendors for outsourced material and job work
- Coordinating with internal teams such as design, workshop, and dispatch
What You Should Have
- 6 to 8 years of experience in furniture production
- Strong expertise in both wooden furniture and metal furniture. Experience with stone furniture is an added advantage
- Very good understanding of furniture making: carcass work, joinery, hardware, polish, and finishing
- Good contacts with vendors for outsourcing material and processes
- Ability to handle pressure and manage many projects together
- Discipline in daily reporting and follow-up
- Should be based in Jaipur or ready to shift to Jaipur
