Job Description:

- Minimum of 7 years PHP web development experience
- Minimum of 5-7 years Magento development
- Solid working knowledge of Magento 1 and Magento 2
- Skilled with PHP object-oriented programming & MVC applications
- Experienced in MySQL-based database concepts
- Familiarity with automated deployment strategies
- Solutions-oriented thinking and always looking for the smart solution to a problem instead of jumping to the answers
- Knowledge on top of industry trends and technologies happening in E-commerce Industry
- Expert in Git-based source control

Proven Skills & Technical Requirements:

- Expert understanding of Magento code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fall back components
- Expertise in authoring and extending Magento extensions
- In-depth experience in customizing Magento front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
- In-depth knowledge of vanilla Magento feature set and configuration




- Experience in ERP integrations with Magento
- Experience with caching and scaling techniques
- Experience in multi-store, multi-lingual, or multi-currency e-commerce implementations
- Experience with CSS pre-processors like SASS/LESS
- Experience in JavaScript and using libraries such as jQuery
- Experience in web services integrations (REST/SOAP)
- A desire to be personally responsible for production-level code
- Ingenuity to leverage all available tools at your disposal
- Comfort working with Linux-based systems

Bonus Qualifications:

- Good to have a Magento Certification
- In-depth knowledge of PCI/PA-DSS compliance issues
- Experience in ERP integrations with Magento
