About the role

Join a small, high-impact team building a new asset management SaaS platform from scratch. Youll work directly with an Australia-based team to design and ship core product features that will define the platform.

This is a greenfield project with real ownership. You wont just implement tickets, youll help shape how the system is built.

What you'll do

- Own features from spec through to production
- Primarily work in your strongest area (frontend or backend), with opportunities to contribute across the stack
- Build using TypeScript, React, Node, and PostgreSQL
- Design APIs and data models alongside other engineers
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team
- Work closely with a senior engineer and help mentor a junior engineer

What we're looking for

- 3-6 years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience in either:

1. React frontend, or

2. Node.js / backend development





- Comfortable working across different parts of a system when needed
- Experience with APIs and databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS or similar)
- Good communication, especially written (remote team)

Nice to have

- Experience with TypeScript across the stack
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar)
- SaaS or multi-tenant systems
- Mobile experience (React Native or similar)
- Experience working on early-stage or greenfield products
