A Purchase Engineer in injection molding manages end-to-end procurement of plastic resins, masterbatches, additives, and engineering spares, while developing suppliers and negotiating contracts to reduce costs. They are responsible for inventory control (FIFO), material planning, and coordinating with production teams to prevent shortages.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Supplier Development & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials (plastics, colorants) and tooling, including international sourcing.
- Procurement Planning: Release purchase orders based on production planning, monitoring rate contracts to ensure cost savings.
- Inventory Control: Maintain stock levels using SAP Material Management (or similar ERP systems),



ensuring material availability while adhering to FIFO systems.
- Quality Coordination: Work with suppliers and internal quality teams to resolve material deviations and improve vendor quality.
- Technical Knowledge: Understand plastic raw materials (e.g., PP, ABS, PC) and injection molding machine spares to evaluate technical specs

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
