Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 5+ Years of Experience in process optimization / process engineering in a CNC machine shop
- Strong knowledge of CNC machines ( Turning ,VMC ,HMC ,5 axis, etc ) -Programming set - up and Operations
- In-depth Knowledge of cutting tools & Inserts tool geometry ,grades, speeds & Feeds
- Hands-on knowledge of fixtures , work holding and design considerations
- Proficiency in cycle time evaluation , process , mapping time study and lead tools
- strong understanding of lean manufacturing Six Sigma, Kaizen and continuous improvement
- Experience with CAD / CAM software such as master CAM, NX CAM or Hypermill
- Experience with tool management systems ( E g.Sandvik coromant, kennametal, seco walter )
- Good analytical , problem-solving , leadership and communication skils

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and evaluate current processes , cycle times and workflows in CNC machine shop to identify improvement opportunities
- Optimize machine cycle to reduce cycle time and non-value added time while maintaining quality




- Select the best cutting tools inserts and machining strategies fox maximum productivity and tool life
- standardize CNC programs and setup sheets
- Improve OEE ( Overall Equipment Effectiveness ) and machine utilization
- Reduce scrap and rework using lean and Six sigma methods
- Work with CAD / CAM software such as master cam , NX cam or hypermill for process planning and program optimization
- Implement tool management systems ( eg.Sandvik , coromant kennametal seco walter ) to control tool inventory usage and cost
- Analyze machine utilization identification bottlenecks and implements corrective actions
- train programmers, setter and operators on best practices and process standards
- Drive automation initiatives such as pallet systems, robotics loading and in-process probing
- collaborate with production, Quality , tooling and maintenance teams to achieve cost savings, maximize Production and ensure Operational Excellence
- Track KPIs and report Performance to drive Continuous Improvement
