Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to manage and maintain hospital infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, and oxygen systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, safety compliance, and quick resolution of maintenance issues within the hospital premises.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs of hospital buildings and facilities
- Handle electrical systems including wiring, lighting, panels, and basic troubleshooting
- Manage plumbing systems such as pipelines, fixtures, drainage, and water supply
- Manage oxygen (O₂) systems, including cylinder handling, pipeline monitoring, and flow checks
- Coordinate purchase and stock management of oxygen cylinders and related supplies
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints promptly
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and fix issues proactively
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and hospital standards
- Coordinate with external vendors when required
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs




- Support emergency maintenance requirements as needed

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Plumbing, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in building maintenance (hospital experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Experience in handling medical oxygen systems is highly preferred
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems is an added advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in shifts if required
