About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced TDS Executive to join our Taxation

team. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Tax Deducted at

Source (TDS) provisions under the Income Tax Act, along with hands-on experience in

TDS compliance, reconciliations, return filing, and statutory reporting. Basic knowledge

of GST will be an added advantage; however, the primary focus of this role is TDS

compliance and related taxation activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and file quarterly TDS Returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.) accurately and within statutory timelines.
- Deduct and verify TDS under applicable sections of the Income Tax Act.
- Prepare TDS workings, challans, deduction summaries, and reconciliation statements.
- Ensure timely deposit of TDS liabilities and compliance with statutory due dates.
- Download, verify, and issue Form 16 and Form 16A certificates.
- Reconcile TDS data with Form 26AS, AIS, and the TRACES Portal.
- Resolve TDS defaults, notices, short deductions, late payment interest, and filing errors.




- Coordinate with internal teams and clients for collection of TDS-related information and documentation.
- Maintain statutory records, tax documentation, and compliance reports.
- Prepare MIS reports related to TDS compliance, deductions, payments, and reconciliations.
- Assist during tax audits, departmental assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Support GST return preparation, reconciliations, and compliance activities whenever required.
- Ensure complete compliance with Income Tax provisions and other applicable statutory regulations.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of TDS provisions under the Income Tax Act.
- Hands-on experience in TDS return filing and reconciliation.
- Good understanding of the TRACES Portal, Form 26AS, AIS, and TDS compliance procedures.
- Basic understanding of GST returns and GST reconciliation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel, including:

o VLOOKUP

o XLOOKUP

o Pivot Tables

o Conditional Formatting

o Lookup & Data Validation Functions

- Knowledge of Tally, ERP software, or tax compliance software.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing statutory deadlines.

Mandatory Qualification

- CA Inter Qualified (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

- Practical experience in handling TDS notices and assessments.
- Exposure to accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems.
- Basic working knowledge of GST compliance will be an added advantage.
