Position Overview
JLL is seeking a dynamic Events Executive to support our client account by delivering exceptional sports-related activations and employee engagement initiatives. This role requires a passionate sports enthusiast who can bridge workplace services with athletic programming to enhance the Nike employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Sports Programming & Activation
Drive sports-related activations and events for client’s employees at JLL-managed facilities. Coordinate fitness challenges, recreational sports leagues, wellness initiatives, and athletic events that align with Nike's culture and values. Develop cutting-edge programming that promotes physical activity and team building.
Capability Support
Support client’s sports capability team in delivering world-class service to the client account. Act as the on-site sports liaison, ensuring seamless execution of athletic programs and responding quickly to employee needs and feedback.
Event Coordination
Plan and execute sports events ranging from informal fitness sessions to large-scale tournaments and competitions. Manage logistics including venue setup, equipment procurement, participant registration, and post-event analysis.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with client employees and leadership to understand their sports and wellness preferences. Collaborate with JLL account teams, facilities management, and external vendors to deliver comprehensive programming.
Program Evaluation
Track participation metrics, gather feedback, and continuously improve sports offerings. Report on program effectiveness and recommend enhancements to maximize employee engagement.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Kinesiology, Recreation Management, or related field (preferred)
1-3 years of experience in sports programming, event coordination, or athletic facility management
Genuine passion for sports, fitness, and active lifestyles
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends for events
Preferred
Experience working with corporate wellness or employee engagement programs
Knowledge of various sports, fitness trends, and recreational activities
CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in facilities management or workplace services
Familiarity with Nike's brand and culture
