Job Title:Pointman/Shuntman

Location: Andal Site, West Bengal

CTC: ₹15,000–₹20,000 monthly CTC

We are hiring an experienced Pointsman/Shuntman to support safe and efficient railway yard operations, including shunting activities, point setting, and train movement coordination while ensuring compliance with railway safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Set and secure railway points (switches) for safe train and shunting movements.
- Assist in coupling/uncoupling of wagons and locomotives during shunting operations.
- Provide hand, flag, and lamp signals for safe train movements.
- Coordinate with Loco Operators, Yard Masters, and other railway staff.
- Inspect tracks and yard conditions and report safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with railway safety rules and operational procedures.

Qualifications





- Minimum 12th Pass (ITI preferred).
- 2–3 years of experience in railway yard operations, shunting, or points operation.
- Knowledge of railway signalling, shunting rules, and safety procedures.
- Medically fit as per Railway standards.

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 monthly CTC per month, based on experience.
