We are looking for a detail-oriented and technical QA Automation Tester who bridges the gap between thorough manual testing and modern end-to-end automation.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing manual test cases for new feature builds, and scaling our automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure high reliability, performance, and coverage across our applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Manual Testing: Plan, write, and execute detailed manual test cases for new features, regression passes, and edge cases across web and mobile platforms.
- Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Framework Development: Integrate Playwright test suites into continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins).
- Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and verify software bugs using tools like Jira; collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- API Testing: Conduct functional and integration testing on RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Playwright, Postman, or native HTTP clients.
- Quality Strategy: Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming to provide testing estimates and risk assessments.





Qualifications & SkillsMust-Have:

- Hands-on Playwright & TypeScript: Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Strong QA Fundamentals: Solid grounding in software QA methodologies, test life cycle (STLC), and writing test plans/cases.
- API Testing: Proven experience testing APIs (REST / JSON / GraphQL).
- CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with triggering automated test runs within CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

- Familiarity with cross-browser and parallel testing setups.
- Basic understanding of SQL or database querying for data validation.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., k6, Locust) or security testing tools.
