Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to design, develop, deploy, and manage scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with proven experience leading technical teams and driving cloud transformation initiatives. This role requires hands-on development, solution architecture, mentoring, and delivering enterprise-grade applications in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Architecture

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java-based enterprise applications.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Spring Boot, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular and TypeScript.
- Design robust RESTful APIs and integrate them with enterprise applications.
- Ensure application scalability, security, reliability, and performance.

Cloud & Technical Leadership

- Define strategies for delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Assess existing applications, identify technical gaps, and recommend modernization strategies.
- Lead cloud migration, transformation, automation, and governance initiatives.
- Create architecture documents, implementation roadmaps, and technical solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.

GCP & DevOps

- Develop and deploy applications using GCP services such as:
- Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Cloud SQL
- Bigtable
- Dataflow (Apache Beam)
- Composer (Apache Airflow)




- Cloud Functions
- Pub/Sub
- Dataproc
- Dataprep
- BigQuery
- Cloud KMS

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and infrastructure management.

Quality & Delivery

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Ensure high-quality software delivery through testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within timelines.

Required Skills

- 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end development.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with GCP services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Bigtable, Dataflow, Composer, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataprep, BigQuery, and Cloud KMS.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native application architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience in code reviews, technical mentoring, and leading development teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, and observability tools.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
